【Program】
Shandong University International MBA/EMBA offers an 18-month full-time program. Students earn the Shandong University MBA degree in a program that is tailored to the needs of international students and international working professionals home and abroad, who want to have an in-depth exposure to Chinese economy, Chinese economy reform and practice, and Chinese tradition and modern culture, and who have potential intent to work or advance their career in the business circle in China in the future. 
【Duration】
18 months. Thursday to Sunday, 8:30AM to 5:30PM, Concentration classes meet once in every month.
【Degree Requirement】
Shandong University International MBA/EMBA designs a 30-credit curriculum. Students must complete full 30 credits to obtain the MBA degree. That includes: 22 credits for compulsory courses (i.e. 2 credits for warm-up module, 16 credits for core module, 4 credits for integration module), and 8 credits for elective courses (i.e. 8 credits for featured module, and no less than 4 credits for practical part). Besides, students still need to write a thesis with 4 credits required for completion.
【Module】

Shandong University International MBA/EMBA has elaborately designed a module-based curriculum. That includes warm-up module, core module, featured module, and integration module. Moreover, a unique and pioneering teaching method from a comparative perspective have been adopted throughout curriculum, which will help international students to better understand both Chinese economy and reform nowadays and its reasons behind and to be more professional when starting and doing business in China.
【Warm-up Module】
This module is a one-week preheating session for international students to be familiar with each other through serials of outdoors and indoors trainings focused on team building and teamwork.
【Core Module】
This module is the fundamental of International MBA/EMBA education, which offers 8 compulsory courses, comprehensively ranging from basic economics and business management theory to various aspects of Chinese economy and reform. Students will receive sound training in these core courses of economics and business administration such as modern economics, accounting, HR, marketing, quantitative methods and etc. with Chinese focus.

【Featured Module】
Upon completion of systematic and scientific training in economics and business administration, international students are expected to move forward to the featured module. This impressive module consists of foresight, humanity and practice, where international students will be exposed to the review and prospect of Chinese Economic Reform, various topics on comparison between China and West, such as law, political system, financial system and institution, and philosophy. Moreover, international students will be offered field trip opportunities to experience Chinese traditional culture, especially Confucian culture and site visits to modern state / private enterprises and SMEs in Shandong province.
Course Menu:(8 Credits, 1 credit for each and no less than 4 credits in practice)

【Integration Module】
This module will require international students to focus on one topic with help from their supervisors, while applying their knowledge to solutions to the practical issues occurred in the development of Chinese enterprises. All the research with integrated knowledge will be ended up as a thesis.
【Admission Requirement】
1. Applicants must be Non-Chinese citizens in good health, at the age of 18 or above, and possess a valid and private passport;
2. Applicants must have bachelor's degree or above;
•Applicants who have not yet graduated can obtain a pre-graduation letter from their current educational institution stating their expected date of graduation. If accepted, applicant is required to provide the original graduation certificate upon registration. Otherwise, the acceptance qualification will be cancelled.
3. Language Requirement:
•Applicants with English as native language are exempted from English language certificate.
•Applicants from non-English speaking countries must provide IELTS (6.0 or above), new TOEFL (80 points or above) or other comparable certification of English proficiency.
•Applicants who have obtained their highest degree with English as the medium of instruction are exempted from providing language proficiency certification, but proof indicating the language medium is required.
4. No specific requirements for working experience. We encourage international students to apply with confidence and real interests to know about China and its economy and even to work or advance their career in China after completion of this program.
